  • Have worked on several areas of law including but not limited to service laws, labour laws, women laws, employment laws, environmental laws, insurance, consumer affairs, medical negligence, arbitration and mediation, banking, commercial laws, Personal laws, Matrimonial matters and Constitutional cases in different fora in and around Delhi.

  • Served as law researcher to Hon’ble Judge of Supreme Court, Justice Misra.

  • Was appointed as a student counsellor by the Hon’ble High Court of Patna in Shashi Bhushan Prasad v State of Bihar in Cr. W. JC No. 622 of 2007 in a matter pertaining to a girl child survivor of sexual harassment.

  • Been serving as an external member of the  Internal Complaints Committee under the POSH Act, 2013 to a private corporate house for the last two and a half years.

  • Was selected as a Lamp fellow. 2012

  • Notable constitutional matters as an Advocate include:

i. Jindal Stainless Ltd v. State of Haryana, (2017) 12 SCC 1; (issue of octroi)
ii. M Siddiq v Mahant Suresh Das (2020) 1 SCC 1; (Ayodhya dispute); and
iii. Shayara Bano v Union of India, (2017) 9 SCC 1 (Triple Talaq matter)

Bharat 

Honorary Legal Counsel

An experienced Dispute Resolution counsel with over 13 years of experience in Civil and Commercial disputes, Medical Negligence disputes, Intellectual Property disputes, Arbitrations, Criminal disputes, Fundamental Rights violations, et al. He is presently a counsel for the Government of Delhi and is working for a Tier 1 law firm based out of Delhi. He has been an erstwhile empanelled counsel for Central Pollution Control Board(CPCB) , iProbono, the Delhi State Legal Services Authority (DSLSA) & Trustlaw (Thomson Reuters). 
He regularly represents foreign and domestic clients in disputes before the Hon’ble Delhi High Court and the  Supreme Court. Bharat is accredited with drafting, filing and arguing the first petition in India involving ‘The Right to Safe Working Environment’, for an Indian Air Force (IAF) personnel.
Bharat is an avid animal lover and has been contributing to causes regularly. He has also been fighting disputes for numerous NGO’s , including animal rights and POCSO cases,  pro-bono, in various courts across Delhi.

  • A law graduate from Faculty of Law, University of Delhi and possess an experience of about 17 years in handling various corporate as well as litigation assignments for different companies, banks and corporate house, the Advocate has acquired the expertise to meet the new legal challenges in the corporate world.

  • Presented a live show on ZEE News U.P. imparting legal knowledge and creating awareness among the viewers on the subject of Consumer Rights and Remedies on 8th December 2010.
    The Advocate has been awarded for imparting lecture on integrities about cheque dishonor cases in a seminar organized by Delhi Sales Tax Bar Association (Regd.).

  • Involved in finalizing terms & conditions of Contracts, performing analysis to ensure that contracts are within negotiated & agreed-upon parameters besides Drafting, Negotiating and Vetting of various Contracts/Documents;

  • Conducted due diligence for Multinational – National Banks and individuals. Provided upto date information on the status of property, alongwith non encumbrance – title search report/certificate and analysis of original documents.

  • Empanelled with Delhi State Legal Services Authority (Central District), Tis Hazari Court, Delhi as AMICUS CURIE for dealing matters pertaining to family disputes before the Family Court, at Tis Hazari, Delhi.

  • Cases relating to Goods and Service Tax, Income Tax, Delhi Value Added Tax Laws, Service Tax.

Chhaya Kirti

Pursued B.A. LLB (Hons) from Chanakya National Law University, Patna in July 2013. Passed All India Bar Examination-VI, 2013 and certified as Advocate through Bar Council of India. 
Soon after completion of law course, started law practice at Hon’ble Supreme Court of India, New Delhi under the guidance of Mr. Sushil Kumar Jain, Senior Advocate and Mrs. Pratibha Jain, Advocate –on- Record, Supreme Court. After four years of legal practice at Hon’ble Supreme Court of India, in July, 2017; started independent practice at Hon’ble Patna High Court, Patna which comprises of total more than nine years of post-qualification experience in legal practice.

  • Standing Counsel for National Testing Agency, Delhi before Hon’ble Patna High Court.

  • Appeared and assisted the court in landmark cases of inter country adoption before High Court of Judicature at Patna for adoption of abandoned children under Juvenile Justice Act, 2015

  • Appointed as Amicus Curiae by Hon’ble High Court in a Suo Moto case titled as “Court on its own motion on the basis of news item titled School shut no mid-day meal children” wherein directions were made to the State Govt. for implementation of mid-day meal scheme during lockdown period throughout the State of Bihar.

  • Appointed as Amicus Curiae by Hon’ble High Court in a PIL wherein was directed to assist the court on “Digital India Project” of Government of India and its proper implementation throughout the State of Bihar.

  • Appointed as Amicus Curiae by Hon’ble High Court in a Suo Moto case titled as “In the matter of news report published in Bihari Voice Desk dated 15.06.2021” wherein an issue of misreporting of a news item came into light relating to sensitive subject and affecting public at large.
